Hello,
My name is Erica Jones and I work at Quote...Unquote, Inc, a non-profit organization, home to Albuquerque's public access Channel 27 and Encantada TV, Channel 26. Encantada TV is a local arts, culture, and events channel.
Encantada TV was launched in May 2009 & is aimed towards community, cultural and educational enlightenment. This channel has the potential to reach nearly 150,000+ New Mexico viewers and will soon be streamed live on our website. I am inquiring with you to see if there is a way to outreach to your Filmmaking students & Faculty to submit any of their films/documentary to be aired on Encantada TV? An important mission of Encantada is to partner with local universities and filmmakers and to gather content that tackles critical social issues in our society. Unfortunately, we do not have a budget for spending on films, however, if students and faculty are interested, please consider this submission a very important investment in educating a large community.
Please email me back with any thoughts or ideas regarding this proposition. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Our own Bryan Konefsky has received the Outstanding Adjunt Teacher and Lecturer Award.
A standing ovation to our very own visualiste, the excellent Bryan Konefsky, creative genius behind the attendance record-shattering fourth year of the wondrous "Experiments in Cinema." In addition to rallying our students to produce the four-day festival, he brought film and video artists to Albuquerque from around the world to speak about the works they've made, the shows-within-the show they've curated, and the state of the avant-garde vis-à-vis cinema's distant past and immediate future.
All this, and oh yes: in the august company of only two others at UNM, Bryan has just been named Lecturer of the Year!
Bryan Konefsky is a self-taught media artist and cultural worker. At UNM he teaches studio and critical studies courses that explore un-dependent and experimental media through the Department of Cinematic Arts.
