Congratulations to Basement Films!

Basement Films was awarded a grant from the NEA to support a month-long visiting artist residency to experiment with traditional film formats. In this pilot program, one resident artist will be selected from a national search to explore and creatively use Basement Films’ archive of 8mm, 16mm, and 35mm film prints for the development of new work for one month. Students from the Department of Cinematic Arts at UNM will have the opportunity to participate in the creative process with the selected artist. The project will culminate in a public presentation.
